I have to admit, to begin with I was a little sceptical about watermelon being a good addition to a protein shake.
But a client of mine told me she looooooved the refreshing taste of watermelon, and asked if I could come up with a recipe.
So me being the type of person that can never says no to a blending challenge, the next thing I know, I’m eagerly chucking handfuls of the sweet, red fruit into my trusty Vitamix….
…and hey presto, the Watermelon Crush Protein Shake was born!
And boy is it a beauty!
